Is there a bigger Toronto Maple Leafs celebrity fan than Mike Myers? Not likely.
The actor / comedian was spotted at Tuesday night’s game between his beloved Maple Leafs and the New York Islanders in Long Island with (we’re 99% sure) his wife of 10 months Kelly Tinsdale.
Cameras zoomed in on Myers throughout the game. He could be seen taking photographs with fans while enjoying the action.

A fan even bought the Scarborough, Ontario native a hot dog and a beverage (check out his video).
According to HockeyBuzz blogger Dee Karl, Myers left his seats in section 218 after the Leafs took a 3-2 lead. It’s unclear if he left the game or watched the remainder at a VIP lounge in the arena (do the Islanders even have one of those?). But wherever he was, we’re sure he is was delighted with the Maple Leafs’ 4-3 overtime win.
So how big a Maple Leafs fan is Myers?
The club was actually featured in one of his more recent films, the Love Guru. In the movie, Mayers plays a, well, a relationship guru, who is hired by the movie version of the Maple Leafs to help their team captain get over his ex-girlfriend.
Myers even made a cameo, as himself, in his own movie, along with Kanye West. They were both wearing Leafs jerseys.
But Myers’ isn’t just a life-long, die-hard, Maple Leafs fan. Like all Canadian, he just loves the game of hockey. His classic hit Wayne’s World featured many scenes of himself and his co-stars playing road hockey, for example.
The “Austin Powers” star even met his first wife — comedy writer and actress Robin Ruzan — at a hockey game. According to the New York Post, Myers caught a puck that went over the boards and used the incident to chat up Ruzan. The two married in 1993, and divorced in 2005.
We hope your current marriage has a different outcome, Mike. And a long-awaited Stanley Cup win for the Maple Leafs.
